Palmer Ranch is a master planned community of over 10,000 acres having 26 gated neighborhoods out of the over 36 neighborhoods available in the Palmer Ranch area of Sarasota, FL.
Owning a home in a gated neighborhood can not only give you peace of mind but also lends itself to a community where the only traffic on the streets has been allowed inside the gates. If you have school aged children, the Sarasota school buses will typically pick up your child at the entrance gates making it a great bus stop and gathering spot to meet the other families who also have kids.
Below is a list of the Gated Neighborhoods on Palmer Ranch with links to view the homes that are currently for sale. There is a mix of single family neighborhoods, condos and townhouses included in these gated neighborhoods. These pages are updated daily directly from the local MLS system for your convenience. Arielle – is a gated condominium community located off of McIntosh Road. Arielle features 2 and 3 bedroom condos from 1,500 to 2,000 sq. ft. There is a community center and pool.
Ballantrae Villas – The Entrance to Ballantrae is from Beneva Road. There are 102 villa style homes in Ballantrae with a gate that is open during the day but closed at night. Ballantrae is conveniently located near Costco, the Westfield Shopping Mall and the Legacy Bike Trail and the YMCA
Bella Villino – is a condominium community of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units. The gated entrance to Bella Villino is located off of Central Sarasota Parkway.
Botanica – is a gated condominium community of 172 upscale luxury condos located at the corner of Palmer Ranch Parkway and Honore Ave. There is a 24 hour gated entrance, 4,000 sq. ft. clubhouse and 3 community pools. Many of the condos have their own private garage.
Country Club of Sarasota – is a gated community in Palmer Ranch of single family homes with its guard entrance from Beneva Road. The Country Club of Sarasota has homes with golf course views of the Prestancia TPC courses that are intermingled amongst the homes. Country Club of Sarasota is also home to the Sarasota Racquet Club which features 19 har-tru lighted tennis courts and an Olympic size swimming pool. Membership to the Racquet Club is available but is not mandatory of the residents in the neighborhood.
Deer Creek – is a gated community of Single Family Homes and a section of Villas with a guard gated entrance from McIntosh Road and an owners only access gate from Central Sarasota Parkway.
Fairway Woods – is a condominium community with a gated entrance from Beneva Road. Fairway Woods has first and second floor units, garages, and a community pool.
The Hamptons – is a community of single family homes. The first section is non-gated and there is a small section of estate style homes that are behind an electronic gated just after the first section.
Huntington Pointe – is a gated community of single family homes. Both Entrances to Huntington Pointe are located from McIntosh Road.
Marbella– is a gated neighborhood on Palmer Ranch of 139 single family homes. Homeowners are responsible for their own maintenance of their homes. Rental of your home in Marbella is not allowed.
Mira Lago – is a gated Palmer Ranch neighborhood of 180 lakefront maintenance free villas built on a zero lot line design. Mira Lago has a beautiful community pool.
Palmer Oaks – is a gated community of condo style and single family homes located on Honore Ave. near Clark Road. Palmer Oaks homes are 2 stories and some condos are on the first floor with others being on the second floor. There is a community pool to enjoy in Palmer Oaks.
Plaza Des Flores – is an upscale gated community of 200 condo units that all have lake views located just off of Central Sarasota Parkway with very close bike riding access to the Legacy Bike Trail. Plaza Des Flores has first floor and second floor units.
Prestancia – a guard gated, upscale golf course/country club community of single family homes, villas, and condos surrounding the two 18 hole championship courses of TPC Prestancia.
Sandhill Preserve – one of the newest gated Palmer Ranch neighborhoods built by DiVosta. Sandhill Preserve will have over 300 single family homes and a beautiful community center and pool area for the residents. There is a gated entrance at the intersection of Honore and Central Sarasota Parkway.
Serenade – is a gated condo community of 3 story buildings located at the corner of Honore Ave. and Northridge Road directly across the street from the Publix shopping center. There is a clubhouse, heated swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, play ground and exercise facility.
Silver Oak – is a gated neighborhood of 272 single family homes and a section of villas on over 230 acres of lushly landscaped and very well maintained grounds. The main gated entrance is from Central Sarasota Parkway near the intersection of Honore Ave.
Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club – is a Palmer Ranch Gated Neighborhood of single family homes and condos. Membership to the Golf Club is mandatory for the majority of the homes and condos in Stoneybrook.
Turtle Rock – is a gated neighborhood of over 740 single family homes and a section of villas. There is a playground, community center for having parties, tennis courts, basketball court. The homes in Turtle Rock are positioned with lake views. There are two gated entrances to Turtle Rock, one from Central Sarasota Parkway and the other from Palmer Ranch Parkway.
Village Walk – is a Palmer Ranch Gated Neighborhood of over 500 acres with 1,177 residences of condos/villa style homes along with single family homes. Village Walk features a community center with coffee/sandwich shop, hairdresser, gas station, gift shop, and community gathering rooms. There are 6 Har Tru lighted tennis courts, fitness center, heated lap pool, and a very large tropical lagoon style pool. There are miles of walking trails around the lakes and over bridges for you to enjoy your new Florida home.
